Salon Privé London has announced that it will be holding the 5th edition of its celebrated ‘Concours de Vente’ when it returns to the Royal Hospital Chelsea in April. This year has seen a surge in entries, with over 90 cars already entered to be judged.
The event is not a traditional judged concours of privately owned vehicles, rather, it is unique in that every car is presented by a renowned classic car dealer and is available to purchase.
Esteemed classic car dealers including Furlonger, Hilton & Moss, Joe Macari, Fiskens, Tom Hartley and Dylan Miles are among 30 plus dealers who will be presenting the pick of their inventory and competing for the coveted Prix d’Honneur. The special twist to traditional Concours offers every visitor to Salon Privé London the opportunity to acquire any of the entries in the competition, there and then.
On Thursday 16 and Friday 17 April only, a carefully curated selection of rare and exotic classics will be admired, inspected and potentially sold to visitors across the lawns of The Royal Hospital Chelsea. Judging the Concours de Vente this year will include Thomas Howarth and Freddie Atkins. Alongside the Prix d’Honneur, the competition will also include the Pensioners’ Choice and People’s Choice trophies.
“The opportunity to enter the Concours de Vente has proven exceptionally popular this year, and we look forward to welcoming as many Classic Cars as possible. Our guests will have a rare chance to view and purchase a selection of motors from some of the most established classic car retailers from across the country. We’re looking forward to seeing who drives home from the event in their dream car.”
